Scam or fraud: Rockland Hospital — Poor quality of service in Rockland Hospital @ Katwaria Sarai

Complaint Details:
I admitted my 77 years old father for knee replacement surgery to be performed by Dr Hegde. The quality of the hospital was so bad, we forced ourselves out of the hospital after one night. We paid Rs 14000+ for the one night torture. I am listing out the major concerns:
– Single room on 5th floor allocated to us did not have a ward boy ring switch if necessary. Father is quite immobile, how does the hospital think he can call someone for help?
– AC/ Heater does not work
– No hot water in bathroom
– Basin tap handle comes off
– Blankets provided were even of worse quality than railway blankets
– Nurse does not have proper tools to draw blood sample. She used syringe to draw blood and manually pour blood from the syringe in different test tubes. All this done without any protective gloves
– After drawing blood no tape was used to seal the punctured vein
– She brought an ECG machine to the room. After plugging in the machine, it did not work. She walked out of the room looking for help while my father lay bare bodies in the cold with cables sticking out
– Requested dinner for me (attendant). I was asked to pay cash. No credit, debit, PAYTM or option to include in the bill. The dinner was taken back since I did not have cash
– Not a single ward boy or nurse peeped in the room the entire night to see how we are doing
– When I went out to replenish drinking water, I found all ward boys sleeping around the water dispenser. It was a big effort to wake them up to get water for patient and me
– Before discharge, the nurse extracted the tube that is stuck in the vein and carelessly taped. After a while there was huge bleeding (photo attached). She then came in a attached another tape carelessly
For all the above pain, I was charged Rs 14822 (Bill number INV-ROCQ-16009487). But I am glad to get out of the death trap called Rockland Hospital.
