Scam or fraud: Airtel — Activation of Airtel Prepaid Sim is pending for more than a month

Hi,

I was holding Airtel postpaid sim and I had submitted request for conversion of postpaid connection to prepaid connection. The postpaid sim is disconnected in first week of January 2017. The airtel office gave me a prepaid sim in which I am not getting network at all. I have visited the airtel office for more than 10 times and called customer care for more than 5 times. Nobody is taking the responsibility to activate the prepaid sim. I am having the prepaid sim which was given in the airtel office. If I try to call, the calls are not going and I am getting a NETWORK INVALID message. Every-time I call airtel customer care, some new person talks and I have to explain the entire issue to them. If I ask them to connect to a particular person who was handling this issue before, they tell they dont have the option to connect. Its been more than 3 people now who told they will callback me in 48 hrs and resolve the issue. Till now I have not received any call from airtel. This is the very important number which I am using for my professional as well as personal life. I am facing lot of issues since nobody is able to connect to me.
I dont have the particular number active from 35 days. I want the prepaid sim to be activated.
