Scam or fraud: Bajaj Electricals — Engineer lied and gave wrong information during service of my Bajaj Majesty 10 Liters Geyser to escape work Load

I have contacted Bajaj electronics call center number on 17th or 18th November 2016 for a service visit, as water drops were leaking from my Bajaj Majesty 10 liters Geyser. Call center official had given service request number 10858245 and informed that an engineer would visit to check the geyser and charges for that would be Rs. 350.00 as it is not in warranty.

On 19-11-2016 engineer visited my residence and inspected my geyser and informed me that the SS tank is leaking due to a hole (Over usage due to corrosion it will lead to this) and suggested me that it is better to buy a new geyser as replacing the SS tank will cost me up to 85% of the cost of a new geyser and charged me Rs. 350 and gave the a bill for the visit wide number 4189.

As per suggestion of the engineer i have purchased a new AO Smith 10 Liters geyser on 03/12/2016. Recently my father visited my home and saw the old geyser lying around and inquired on what happened to the geyser and further about the new purchase. I informed my father that service engineer inspected and informed there is a hole in the SS tank and service engineer suggested its better to purchase geyser.

My father is a mechanical engineer, he immediately said that SS tank wont leak unless a manufacturing defect i.e., a flaw during manufacturing of SS tank. He immediately dismantled the whole Geyser and found that the SS tank is filled with sediment (i.e., Sand) 1/3rd of Tank. Hence the water is leaking due to sediment and later the SS tank is tested duly filling with hot water for 12 hours. The SS tank does not have any leak. Only the defect is sediment. The geyser is assembled and it is working fine.

Due to bad service and laziness/to avoid work, i have purchased a new Geyser for Rs 7200 which is a dead capital to me.

In view of the above, i request Bajaj Electronics to give the valid reasons why i should not approach the consumer court for bad service and dead capital.

Imagine how many customers are being cheated every day in country by believing company representatives. Trust is lost by this action. Not all customers will do research on what engineer says they just believe what they say.

Complaint Details:
Uber has been charging me cancellation fee multiple times. Several time their drivers are at fault still we have to pay for cancellation. despite complaining for such cancellations, we get windows popping out demanding to pay for previous cancellations by any medium except for cash. I have paid twice for multiple trips which they deduct from my credit balance and also from my card.
Not only this, after resolving the above issue with company, the fees of multiple times calculated upto 300+ and was charged during my last trip.

I had a phone no. 8378998949 of idea cellular which i lost it while moving to a chennai . Then paid all their bills by online transaction . Then I blocked that number. after which i asked their nearby customer care services to close the account so they say they don’t have the authorization so i complaint regarding closing my number to their customercare@idea.adityabirla.com but no steps were taken. Now they send me a bill of which i haven’t used a single amount of data. They billed me Rs 554.39 .

If this proceeds further there will be a lot of amount of which i would haven’t used a single bit of data as they are not closing the ph no.8378998949.

We are staying in ramapuram, gangai avenue main road. During night at ie.10.30pm the street seems with the bunch of street dogs, starts barking at pedestrians pass by & even no of people got bitten by these dogs which gives a big challenge by endangering the life of common people.
I please to request to chennai corporation will take this issue as a serious concern & i believe will take the necessary action.

My wife was admitted in CMI at Dehradun in emergency for ceaserian delivery December 2016.after baby birth we are continuously being troubled by few nursing staff and sweepers etc. For money.we gave them separately many a times but they came again and again at our booked room lure of gift or money.
secondaly a nurse naming dulari at NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) regularly was ill talking when I and my parents visits there for a look for my new born baby girl .she always found on phone when we reached many a times my child was found crying while she was on duty.Also she never puts eye cover on baby under phototherapy I always interrupts her from to take care of baby when she was crying.But she was not serious about her duty also I complaint about her behaviour from her seniors but there was no action .this was a serious negligence for my baby health as doctors advice is to keep an eye band over baby eye .I want against those staff dull supervision.

The news that toll collection is cashless & a 10% discount can be availed using cards is not implemented on ground. I was traveling to Mumbai on 10th Dec, when asked for accepting a card they bluntly said they don’t have machines yet. While returning to Pune, I asked for accepting card then I was told there was no discount or anything. Surprising that was is advertised versus what is being implemented are not line. Unless there are mechanisms to ensure that the benefits come to ground level, these intermediaries will keep flouting the rules.
