Hi,
I ordered 2nos of Orient 1200 mm Orina Ceiling Fan Brown fans on 25.11.2016 and both got delivered on 30.11.2016 late evening, when we opened the parcel found both the fans were received in damaged condition due to worst packing (actually no packing done, only it was wrapped with polythene cover).
Immediately we raised replacement request for both on 01.12.2016 and the courier person came on 02.12.2016 picked up only one fan (Suborder Id: 21068908307) and when we asked about the other one, he informed us that fan (Suborder Id: 21068998297) will be taken back later by another courier person as he got order to collect only one.
After sometime on 02.12.2016, i got an sms from Snap deal saying we tried contacting multiple times but couldn’t able to reach and your request for return is closed, immediately i updated in the mobile app clearly that no one contacted me for collecting the fan ordered in Suborder Id: 21068998297 and my parents are available in home for whole day and even i was very well in reachable limits. (Apart from the above one fan was picked up on same day and how come for the another one i am not reachable which was totally not acceptable.)
Then i was told return pick up rescheduled courier person will contact shortly, after that no one contacted me and not visited by home for collection and all of sudden i got an sms on 08.12.2016 saying your Return request closed “It seems you no longer want return the product” which was total shock for me, as i raised return for an damage product and without even contacting me the return request was closed.
After the above sms we have contacted the customer care several times on 08.12.2016, 12.12.2016, 13.12.2016, 14.12.2016 & 16.12.2016 in all the above discussions the entire thing was explained to everyone in detail saying “no one contacted me either on 2nd nor on 08th” and it was updated wrongly by courier person. Every time we are assured the issue was escalated to higher official and necessary action will be taken with 24 hours, irrespective of continuous followup’s so far no action taken up anyone in this regard.
We are totally disappointed with the damaged product first and second with the time consumed & still consuming for following for returning the damaged product and finally the useless customer care department which never go through the complaint record and straight away answers the return was closed making us to explain the above entire things in detail for every call.
Most sad part is even after doing such an long exercise so far no proper action initiated on return request and also we feel no action taken on the courier person who updated all wrong information and end of the day we the customers are suffers after paying money in full and received an damaged product and being dragged.
Hope necessary action will be taken immediately on taking Return of the Damaged product.
