Scam or fraud: Idea Cellular — Fraud/cheating in billing

Dear Sir,

I am Sahil Sharma and I’ve been an Idea postpaid (9928350429) user for many years now and I have never faced any issues with services, until now. I have been getting calls and SMS regarding a new postpaid plan, which will give me more free calls and unlimited 2G data post 1GB 3G data. So I agreed and shifted from RJSuperb250 plan to RJ375unlmtd3G plan on 21st November 2016 (first day of my billing cycle). I was told at the time of activation that no extra charges will be applied for the change of plan, as this is the first day of billing cycle and it will be activated right away.

However, when I received the invoice recently (21nov-20dec), I found Rs.167.81/- (Rs.144.18 + 15% tax) applied as data Usage charge, which doesn’t make any sense to me because current plan has unlimited data and the old plan had 1GB of 2G data, so in either case I cannot have exceeded the data usage limit. Therefore, the usage charges applied are illegitimate.

I contacted 198 customer care last friday, where the Junior executive transfered my call to his “Senior” Gaurav. Firstly, he was very rude, that’s no way to talk to a customer! Secondly, he was unable or didn’t want to understand the issue. He just kept repeating that these charges are correct.

After years of staying loyal to Idea Cellular, for the first time I am feeling cheated. And I am writing to you as the last resort. Therefore, I request you to kindly help get a waiver of this amount from my invoice.

Delivery of car schedule to 10:00 am of 10th of october 2016. Unfortunately when we go to take delivery nobody knows about our new car delivery. Kitni behas ke baad hume afternoon 2:00 pm delivery mili. Itni myskulo ke baad ek to delivery mili and later on rto work me bhi documentation me problem dealership has not submitted papers properly for this reason we have to rto twice-thrice as if like we are free for this only and wonderful thing is at dealership nobody knows who do the work for rto. Wrongly entered chasis number in rto so we get number pate after 2 months of delivery i. E. After completion of 1st free service. And one more thing till date we don’t receive feedback form from navjivan. “is this the service we are getting from navjivan” moreover we are getting fake call by the name of hyundai and conveniencing us to give better rating for hyundai and apolizing on behalf of navjivan. Below mention are number from which we are getting fake call 93231 81999.

It’s a totally harassment case. There no such kind of follow up also after 3 month of purchase regading service or for any legal documents, it’s us who have to follow up for our own papers.

I have visited Airtel store velachery, chennai tamilnadu on 11th Dec 2016 for porting of my number 9962235978 from Reliance post paid to Airtel prepaid, provided all the documents on 11th Dec 2016, and due date for my porting code is 22nd Dec 2016, airtel store people provided new sim card number with : 8991400912997313290, and the Token number for my visit to airtel store is T022, porting number is 9962235978, the number is not ported till i visit on 21st Dec 2016, on that day executive simply said please generate fresh UPC code, and now my number is already diconnected even from Reliance not able to make any calls, how can i request for new UPC code. there is no process in last 12days from 11th Dec to 22nd Dec 2016 from airtel store end.

Respected sir/madam,
I gave my samsung galaxy s3 phone for repair ( power button not working ) on 16/12/2016. The service centre people sent me a message on 24/12/2016, saying phone is ready to be collected . When i went there, i got my phone . To my suprise they had flashed my phone data without my permission resulting in loss of my personal and important messages and photos . When i asked them, they did not reply properly . And further they said the phone requires more work to be done . They did not explain me properly and sent me out, asking me to come when they call again . I am very sad and extremely disappointed with the behaviour of the staffs there . Samsung should take this issue into consideration and teach those staffs some manners . I have uploaded the service centre bill . Service centre bill number is 4227411064. Service centre number is 0002155990. Centre address is Hi tech solutions, Sv Towers, plot no 1741, 1st floor, chennai 600040. Kindly do the needful .

Dear all,

I have purchased one samsung galaxy s7 edge (Samsung handset with model number – sm-g935fzduins and serial number – rz8h70lcgbx). Relevant documents are attached for your quick ref. Unfortunately, display got damaged due to accident. On 13/09/2016 i contacted service center for resolution. Service centre took the case advance from me for the estimate and cash as an advance (I asked for credit card payment however they said they need cash only) rs 6, 000 to start the work. I submitted all the money and cash as per instruction / order of the customer care executive. After few days on my follow up i got call from center for the commercial solution. They informed me they don’t have parts!!!

They told me to submit the entire box and accessories with cancel check and id proof for issuing the refund. I did all the submission immediately on 08/10/2016. They told me normally it takes one month time for the processing refund. Which i thought would be right / justified. However, as a customer i expect the work has to be finished by the committed date. Till date i don’t have any update. Its more than one month now. Some days back i called the service center for the help. They told me to contact call center and ask them to expedite. I called call center and call center told me call service center. Now i don’t know what to do here. As i have lost my phone and i have no clue what will happen. I also asked for my refund of cash advance for the work but they said they can’t issue now.

I wrote twice on the contact us section from your web site. Both the time i got standard reply and no clue what is happening and i have to wait till how long to get resolution here. I don’t know how many times i have to raise the request and how much time i will have to wait for the resolution. This is very bad client service experience. I was informed i will get update soon. Now i want to ask what is the definition of “some time” i can’t wait till infinity. My money is at stake after spending such huge amount i am without phone

Now i have received chk from the company. However, my insurance company needs letter from samsung where they want fact to be mentioned that “since, there is no stock we have issued refund”. Without this document insurance company will not process my claim. I have written multiple times to company for this letter but they are not providing this letter.

I had ordered a product 20 days ago. The shoe quality is so poor that the pasting and the leather has started coming out. The customer care executives are so rude, they don’t even listen to the concerns of people instead they just say that it can’t be returned. They should have a proper quality check like other brands do. This is utter non-sense. They do these kinds of things with every customer and making money is their only motto.
