Complaint Details:
I bought a Lenovo (Yoga) laptop in May 2016 from a local dealer called Systems Need in Mysore. Within few weeks, the Operating system malfunctioned and everything had to be re-loaded. Recently, the entire system was not coming on and I took it to the service center here in Mysore, the engineer there changed the small cell and gave it back to me. After two days, the same problem and I logged a complaint. It took about 4 days before the engineer came and changed the mother board of the system. In the next 3 days the same problem re-occurred. The engineer came to my house, picked the system and brought it back after few days. I was in Bangalore for a programme last two weeks. After working with the system on the previous night, I was surprised to see that the same problem re-occured in the morning. I called the Mysore office and they directed me to their Bangalore branch. The engineer did come and repaired the system with the promise that it would not happen again. To my surprise, after 3 days, while getting ready to get into my programme in Chennai last week, the same problem occurred. Again I had to call Mysore and the Chennai office did provide an engineer who worked on the system.
My challenge now is that I cannot rely on the system because it just goes off at will. I want to return the system for a replacement as nothing else will satisfy me. The system has brought shame to me and has come in the way of my work hence, I will not accept any alternative to replacement of the system and soon. I am hopeful that there will be no delay in attending to this mail.
