Complaint Details:
I bought a Lenovo Ideapad on 28-oct-2016 from Lenovo world at TTK Road, chennai. The Laptop has not been used a single day. Initially the Laptop did not boot, the Lenovo service center diagnosed it as a Mother board problem. I had to wait for 10 days for a service engineer who disassembled the laptop and diagnosed it as a OS problem and left the laptop in a dysfunctional state.
The laptop was handed over to the service center the very next day. I had several communications with Lenovo head office in Bangalore; infact escalated to to their ED for support. However apart from assurances and misleading statements (like OS media stuck in customs etc) i had not received any commitment. According to the service center, the media has been received twice but on both occasions, they have been unsuccessful in getting it work.
It is 50 days, full money paid, not a single day of usage. Appalling service from Lenovo who seem take customer for granted. They are not agreeing to provide a replacement and also not returning the working laptop
I want this issue to be escalated to highest levels and ensure immediate action
