Scam or fraud: Haldiram Bhujiawala — Charging twice for the same product through debit card in Chandni Chowk outlet at Delhi

Complaint Details:
My wife and I visited your Chandni Cowk outlet on 19th June 2017. We had our lunch and bought some sweets and namkeen at the outlet. While the payment for lunch was made in cash on the first floor the same for our purchases was made by debit card on the ground floor.

At the end of our lunch, we bought two kulfis which were available only on the ground floor. The price of the kulfi was Rs. 142.20 each. The payment for two kulfis (Rs. 284..40) was made by debit card vide transaction # 717009390198. The cashier said that the transaction had failed and therefore charged us again for the same purchase of the two kulfis vide two more transactions of Rs. 142.20/- each. The transaction nos. are: 717009398484 and 717009391438.

On our way back home we got the SMS from our bankers Stata Bank of India that all the three transactions had been processed and the money for the same (284.40; 142.20 and 142.20) had been been paid from our debit card accounts.

After coming back home, we called the outlet manager on the landline number given on the invoice and informed him about the incident. He assured us that the transaction shall be reversed in 5-6 days. He asked us to SMS the details so that he could take the necessary action.

The details were sent to him via SMS on phone no. 8586999857.

It is more than 10 days and no action has been taken while the transaction is not reversed.
