Complaint Details:
I have migrated Mobile Number on MNP from Idea Celluar Services to Other Service Provider. I have requested MNP on 27th April, 2017 and later on completed all the necessary formalities.
On 1st of May, 2017 i have paid the due bill of IDEA Cellular. After this process gets over on 2nd May, 2017, IDEA Cellular had relieved my number to other service provider and MNP process successfully completed.
After completion of MAY 2017 month, I have received my phone bill from IDEA for the entire month of MAY, 2017, though i have used IDEA services for the 2 days only.
After that I have made complaints to IDEA Customer Care, as per their CC Personnel it is rule of the company to charge the bill for entire month when one customer leaves the company but when one customer joins the company, it can charge the bill prorata on per day usage.
Why Billing on MNP when one leaves the company should not be on pro rata basis on per day usage? Is it TRAI Rulings?
