Scam or fraud: Vodafone India — Harassment for bill payment for services not provided

Complaint Details:
In the month of Nov 2016 I was given two sim cards by the salesman Mr Yuvaraj who claimed both the cards to be of plan 499.While one card I gave to my son, the other card I kept for myself. My son’s plan turned out to be of plan 199 whereas my card was not working the message being ‘mobile network not activated, ‘.After continuous reminder to Yuvaraj, he didn’t rectify both the problem. In fact he stopped taking my calls.After more than a month another salesman Bhoopathy visited our branch and I told him my problems and returned my sim card to him.Since then I have been harrased by Vodafone by sending threatening emails and telephone calls regarding the bill payment. Though I have sent two emails explaining my problem, but they are still sending their agents to my office and threatening me.I am unable to understand how they can bill me when the sim they gave never worked. I request you to ask Vodafone to stop harassing me in this regard.
