Hi,
My name is karthik, working in ufl, chennai.
We are using tata ace ht to transfer our own stocks (Vehicle registration number: tn 07 cb 9774, purchase date: 20-05-2016).
Periodical service given for vehicle with their authorized service center as per parent company advice.
1st service done on 5/9/2015.
2nd service was done on 25/1/2016.
3rd service was done on 14/05/2016
4th service was done on 29/6/2016
Vehicle ran on;y 27853 kms as on 15th dec 2016.
Some abnormal noise was present when engine is on, so we brought the vehicle to the authorized service center (Vinayak commercial motors, kovilambakkam, chennai). Complaint number: 51098447802
They have confirmed that the engine is seized due to lack of oil lubrication due to oil pump malfuntion.
Now they recovered the seized engine & asking us to pay approx. Rs.39000.00-inr for repairing the vehicle.
This is a new vehicle, ran just 27853kms, hearing engine seized at 27853kms sounds not good for the reputed brand tata motors
We called up tata motors call center to make them understand that this issue is due to manufacturing of low quality parts inside the engine, which leads to engine seized. After reaching the call center only we feel & understand that there is no care in call center for tata motors customers & we failed to make their asm to understand the genuine issue with their product.
